Dear Parents/Guardians,

We hope this letter finds you well. We are excited to introduce an exciting opportunity for your student at Lucerne Elementary School—the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP).

The ELOP is designed to provide enriching and engaging activities beyond regular school hours, aimed at enhancing your student’s educational experience. This program will offer a variety of activities including academic support, arts and crafts, sports, and much more. Our dedicated team of educators and staff are committed to ensuring a safe, supportive, and fun environment where your child can learn and thrive.

Key details about the program:

       Location: Lucerne Elementary

       Dates and Times: In accordance with ELOP guidelines, camps are designed to extend the school day to a 9 hour day. While dates are subject to change, ELOP camps can range in timeframes beginning at: 2:30pm - 3:00pm (depending on grade level), with an end time ranging from: 3:30 - 5:30pm (depending on grade level and camp being offered). Please refer to the “tentative camp schedule” to view a list of camps that are tentatively scheduled throughout the 2024-2025 academic school year. Please note that all camps are subject to change at any time.

       Enrichment Activities: sport fundamentals, arts and crafts, life skills, character building and more!

We believe that this program will not only enrich your child's academic progress but also foster their social and emotional growth in a positive setting. Your child's participation is voluntary but highly encouraged, as we aim to provide a well-rounded educational experience.
